Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Data Interview AI (the "App") provided by Honglei Li ("we", "us", the "Developer"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility & Acceptance
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your region). If you use the App on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization.
2. The Service
The App provides interview practice content, including AI‑generated questions and feedback. Features may change without notice.
3. Accounts & User Content
- You are responsible for the accuracy of any information you provide and all activity under your device/account.
- Do not submit sensitive personal data (e.g., health, financial, government IDs) or confidential employer information.
4. AI‑Generated Content
Some outputs are generated by AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Use your own judgment. The App is for practice and educational purposes only and does not provide professional advice.
5. Acceptable Use
- No unlawful, harmful, harassing, or infringing content.
- No reverse engineering, scraping, or attempts to bypass rate limits or security.
- No automated or high‑volume use beyond normal personal practice without our prior consent.
6. Third‑Party Services
The App may send prompts and metadata to third‑party AI providers (e.g., Google Generative Language API / "Gemini") to generate responses. Your use is also subject to their terms and policies.
7. Privacy
Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it.
8. Intellectual Property
We and our licensors own all rights in the App and its content (excluding your own inputs). You receive a limited, revocable, non‑transferable license to use the App for personal, non‑commercial practice.
9. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR‑FREE OPERATION OR THE ACCURACY OF AI OUTPUTS.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Honglei Li from claims arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for any reason, including suspected abuse or security risk. You may stop using the App at any time.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The effective date will reflect the latest update.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Honglei Li is established, without regard to conflict‑of‑law rules.
